Dear Mr. Murphy:
I am pleased to write to you about the success we have had here at Henry Molded Products. During the past six months our employees have been heavily involved in training in Lean Manufacturing as taught by Dwight Bowen of Dwight Bowen & Associate, Lancaster PA.
Henry Molded Products is a producer of protective packaging, floral and nursery containers, , all manufactured from 100% recycled fibre. With the support of your WEDnetPA staff, we have completed a very successful series of modules in Lean Manufacturing. This training was most timely as the recent upturn in the economy has increased our manufacturing requirements. Our current production levels would not have been possible without the implementation of Lean Manufacturing training.
Lean Manufacturing has created a motivated work force who are involved in identifying problem areas, developing solutions and producing at high levels of output and quality. This program is now part of our everyday way of doing everything-LEAN! Unexpected benefits have been realized. Employees have gained a greater understanding of how important their efforts are in the success of the process and strength of the company.
