  I think that Drew makes a significant distinction when he describes a company as a lean enterprise. We make it easy for our non-manufacturing teammates (sales, marketing, administrative, it, etc.) to say lean manufacturing is great, but not for me, since all we say is “lean manufacturing” in all our communication. We need to clean up our message and get the “M” word out, going forward our goal is to describe our company as a “lean”.
